The retaining ring used in drums maintains the wire correctly layered inside the drum during handling (shipping and storage operations) and also during the extraction of the wire. It guides and controls the wire as it is drawn out avoiding tangles and knots, maintaining a correct tension without stressing the wire, so that it is straight ensuring continuity in the welding process.
